I'm loving these tracks I've been spinning from The Winter Sounds. Think little pieces of Fleet Foxes, Of Montreal, and The Gloria Record, all rolled up into a neat little package of indie pop.

Plus they're super DIY, booking all their own tours and releasing their own records, but they still manage 150-200 shows a year.

The band just sent me the full version of their newest record, and it's a little more rockin than the track on the blog, but I still see all those references in their sound, although now I'd just kick it up a notch with something like The Killers.
