This is a thread where my fellow Canadians shall come together and remember a better time, when Stephen Harper was just a douchey MP from Calgary and "indie rock" sounded nothing like Vampire Weekend.

Not only did they write a ton of fantastic songs, but they FUCKING DID A SONG ABOUT GREEN EGGS AND HAM. Suck it, Barenaked Ladies.

Last year for my school's remembrance day ceremony, me and five other girls did a contemporary dance to The Gulf War Song. I looooove that song. King of Spain too.

OMG you mean there was a link download the indie album and I missed it!!!!

I have been looking to get a hold of the last track a live version of "The Drinking Song" for 15 YEARS! And it has been seemingly impossible to find. Anyway you could update that link, I guess it's been taken down already =(

I can't believe I found this thread... an so shortly after the last post! Any chance I could get my hands on the download link for that indie album? I have the tape but I played it so often as a kid that the sound is warped... would make my day to have it again (without having to find it on youtube) Cheers!
