Cartoon Network with the help of Mark Shimmel Music will be putting on a concert series. The four bands featured for July are Cartel (http://www.absolutepunk.net/cartel) (7/7), Los Lonely Boys (7/14), Morningwood (7/21) and Damone (7/28). More information when we get it.

Honestly, my little cousin even knows that song, and since they've been playing the video all day on mtv, I'm not suprised, but dont hate the publicity.

Running through MorningWood, maybe 3 songs on that album are actually appropriate? I imagine they'll all play 1 or 2 songs, Cartel will play honestly and Say Anything (else) and MorningWood will play Nth Degree and Jetsetter i guess? Regardless i'm very excited :)

Yeah, on the cartoon Fridays thing. I wish Adult Swim did this, they could get Lady Sov and Danger Doom and some other really good people to do realy sets that don't have to be censored and cleaned up for 10 year olds. MorningWood would fit in better there.

I think it cool that Cartel and Cartoon Network are both based out of Atlanta.

As long as they are playing good bands, it's fine with me. Kinda weird, but just as long as Aaron Carter-like kiddy shit isn't what my brother listens to, I am fine.

I just pray that "Honestly" isn't on the next Kidz Bop CD. I hate that bullshit.

wow...that was bullshit..they played for like 1 minute of honestly...and that was 2 hours into this Fridays show...i'm wondering if i should even wait to see if they play another minute of another song

Also, it pains me to see 8-12 year olds jumping around to Cartel

But at least will sounded exactly like the cd, as usual
