Don't get me wrong i enjoy early november i have this cd pre-ordered but i just listened to it and i was a little shocked at how openly emo it was.

It's not emo. It has a very cute-sy romantic theme to it, but definitely not emo.

Its not emo, its TEN falling off VERY hard. No band can pull of a triple disc release unless you are legendary.

you're obviously extremely educated on the subject of "emo". care to enlighten us? what is emo to you?

scratch that, don't answer that. because whatever you say is going to be wrong and a waste of space anyway, so why not, instead, just stop pretending you know what emo is and stop labeling bands as emo until you actually do?

OK....so what is Emo. Does anyone know. Guess not. Is emo Dinosaur Jr. or Jawbreaker. Or is emo Dashboard Confessional. Maybe, maybe not. But to label the early november as an emo band after this album, is riddiculous and you must be stabbed in the heart with a trident, again!!!. I try to stray away from the "Emo" forums because of dooooche bags like you trying to label bands. Just take a step back and listen to this album. Forget the concept and take in the music, because thats all it is.... music. You mention lengendary, ok....lets talk about the Who and their second concept album Quadrophenia, an album about a kid running away from home, sound familiar. So is that an EMO concept, well if it is then call me Turd Furguson and shit on my head, but i doubt that will be happenning anytime soon. So in ending this post, i will say. Enjoy the album, take it in and digest it, like a nice steak dinner not a two bit Mcdonals mcChicken.

i mean, i like for all of this, but they have grown soo much since those days. the music and instrumentals are incredible on every disc. much better than the first two (even tho i loved those too)
