another one bites the dust
We left denver at 8am bound for our show tonight in Lawrence, Kansas. At 9:30 our van overheated, sprung leaks and the headgasket blew just outside of limon colorado. So after getting it into a shop and realizing that it would take 2 days and at least a grand to bring the green limousine back from the dead we decided to bury the unfaithful bitch right here in this one horse town. This meant that we have to find a rental of some sort and that we have 4 potential shows left on this tour....st. Louis, detroit, erie PA, and Auburn NY. Considering the 12 hour drive back to iowa/missouri...the 10 hour drive to detroit..*nd then ended up back on the east coast(where we started this tour) only to drive all the way back to Iowa.....we did the only rational thing and cancelled the rest of tour. We are very sorry to all the kids that were looking forward to seeing us and we hope you understand.

So marks the death of 3 modern life is war vans.

I am now in the back of a u-haul cargo trailer with no windows for the next 12 hours. There is a sign that says what we are doing can lead to serious injury and death so keep your fingers crossed and we will keep ours crossed cause we really want to make another record and have more good times with friends and loved ones.

Playing in an independent touring band is a fucking struggle and anyone who thinks it is easy and glamorous has never done it and had their lives and bills riding on it. Don't get me wrong, even today I had a good time but we are some broke stranded dudes because of what we do and we would do it all over again and again.

If you want to help us buy a new van go to www.crimescenemerch.com (http://www.crimescenemerch.com/) and click on us and buy a t-shirt or ten. Or come to marshallfest sunday july 16 at the midnight ballroom and pick up shirts, hoodies, records, cds, posters, buttons, etc.

that blows. They put out probably one of my top five records last year and I was really stoked to see them in Syracuse. I might still go, but 4 hours for This is hell... I mean Bane is sweet, but I've seen them a bunch of times before too.

source?
believe me, it's true. I just got back from the St. Louis date and we didn't find out until this afternoon.

Regardless, Outbreak, This is Hell, and fucking BANE are well worth the price of admission, fantastic show, one of the best I've been to this year.
