Bold marketing move to help a dorky hot topic version of The Roots establish some semblance of credibility even though they sing songs about online networking communities.

How much did they pay poor Papoose?

Not an actual accomplishment. How about just not making a song about myspace in the first place?

because it's now as "cool" to hate people on myspace, as it was over a year ago(by the same kids) to just be on myspace.

You probably sound exactly like the marketing meeting that took place when a bunch of white guys in suits suggested it to GCH. "C'mon, kids will love it! Eeeeeveryone is on myspace!"

Its just gross.
Nothing is 100% not cooler than myspace. Yeah, yeah, yeah, 90 million accounts and whatever, but most people are on it because its almost a social requirement these days.

Its a little like middle school. Everyone is required to do it. It's mostly lame. Some people enjoy it a little too much.

yea, people give in to making myspace accounts, but still...music is about what people can relate to and 90 million people can relate to that, unlike mainstream rap...cause i know my ass cant related to rollin on 22s, ridin dirty, havin grillz in my teeth...but shiiit, give me a computer and i can relate to messaging a girl, yea as lame as it is...and with the new verse in the remix, i can relate to that...hip hop friends joking me cause i spend all my time on a computer, but now look, they realize, its more to it...

I'm sorry, i don't mean to insult you personally, but thats the lamest thing I have ever heard. Who cares about relate-ability? Just cause millions of americans work in cubicles all day doesn't mean we need a song about briefcases, water coolers, and slacks. This song is wack, and if you like it, its probably because you're wack too.

The remix is better, but I still think it's not the best GCH song off the album. It's more like a novelty song, but "The Queen & I" has potential to be a much bigger and lasting hit.

Because Men in white suits control the world.

The song isn't about MySpace, its cleverly wrapped in a myspace guise. The amount of Hate this song has got based on myspace is unnecessary and ridiculous. As is Telling people they're lame based on Music tastes. That, My friend, is Middle school.

Lupe is sick, I can't wait for The Retail release of food and Liquor, because the leak is fantastic

Papoose needs to sign a deal and drop an album already, every track he guests on he kills it, I heard a rumor Jay Z approached him about signing to Def Jam but he turned it down.

Regardless of what everyone thinks of GCH, somethings obviously going right if they are on PureVOLUME's Top 10 Artist with the Most Played Tracks, without being a featured band on PV. What I have heard off of this album is great stuff, its certainly not a let down, and its a huge step for the band. I'm very happy for them.

wow i never thought i would ever see AHH and AP.net connect. thats really cool. im surprised papoose did that lame ass song though, i mean i agree with the people who think its lame to make a song about myspace in the first place. papoose is the new king of new york though, he killed on his feature on the touch it remix with busta. and whoever was wondering why he hasnt dropped an album or anything yet its cause he drops mixtapes all the time and gets plenty of money from that and features. he likes to keep it "street" and just be the king of ny mixtapes. hes backed heavily though by "the drama king" dj kay slay and is actually on his streetsweepers label. he just finished his debut album and i think he was shoppin it for a deal and such and some people claim he signed with busta's flipmode squad after doing the touch it video but i really dont know how true that is.

I think GCH are way different than the Roots. The Roots focus more on making a studio sound. The Gym Class Heroes are more of a rock
