Bumbershoot Lineup Is Massive!!

it usually seems pretty spendy but hell with that many awesome bands its well worth it....especially Saturday ...too bad my best friend is getting married that day and I am the best man huh? lol

I think they are playing different days though. Kayne headlines one day and Tribe Called Quest does another. I want to go for the night AFI, Yellowcard and Hawthorne Heights headline. I dont like the part though where you have to line up for tixs to the mainstage shows. You pay to get in then only a certain amount get into the main shows at the end of the day.

To my knowledge Tribe, Atmosphere and Kanye are one headlining night together, along with AFI, Yellowcard and Hawthorne Heights headlining another night. Course saying that, I have no idea who would be headlining the other night, so I may be wrong. It's so hard to get mainstage tickets, I was thinking about getting the $255 three day passes.

Yeah, I think I'll go for AFI, Yellowcard and Hawthorne Heights because...why not? So many bands for so cheap, I figure I'll give it a looksee regardless of whether or not Yellowcard and Hawthorne Heights are just average.

I'd like to see the hip-hop show, too. I think it'd be fun to see Kanye and Tribe Called Quest.

Plus, it's right around my birthday!

I've lived here for almost 10 years now and I've never once been to Bumbershoot. This year may change that though. Lots of great local bands are playing: The Blood Brothers, Fall Of Troy, Gossip, Blue Scholars, and Rocky Votolato. The headliners are never strong enough to convince me to go though.

this line up isn't that great...

i mean, it's pretty good. I'd go for Kanye, AFI, Yellowcard, Tribe, Atmosphere, Common, Sparta and Of Montreal.

But the rest is VERY underwhelming. Sasquatch was a trillion times better. I mean...Ben Harper, Beck, QTSA, Death Cab, Wolfmother, Decemberists, Matisyahu?

Beck and Death cab was worth the 200 bucks alone. Best festival I've ever been too
