Nightmare of You (http://www.nightmareofyou.com/) will be debuting their video for "Days Go By So Slow" this Sunday at 1 am on MTV2 Subterranean. They obviously got hooked up with the "good" timeslot.

All the songs sound the same, anyone of them will do as well as any other.

sarcasm used well on the time slot thing, but I think this song is as good as any, and the video is pretty simple but its alright, its been on fuse for over a month now, I think

that indeed is a crappy time slot.

i've heard from a bunch of people this band is awful life and they are totally shitfaced when they play.

I like this song. After a listen or two, it's really catchy.

Nightmare of You is a very good band, and I don't see why people are hating pn them so much. Why, because they play shitfaced on-stage? Plenty of bands have done the same thing or worse - that's rock music for ya, kids.

They don't.

They aren't... well, they weren't when I saw them supporting Fall Out Boy in January. In fact, they were pretty damn good - good enough to impress my mate I went with who hadn't heard of them and made us want to see them again (until they cancelled :(). A very tight performance and sounded as good as on record, and IMO outshone both GCH and FOB on the night. But there we go :)

As for the song... it's an obvious choice for a single, already been released once over in the UK on vinyl and I hope they do well. I like this band and think they don't deserve the hate the staffers seem to have brought.

I like NOY, my comments were jokes. I thought people would get that.

Fair enough, I didn't. SORRY :P

Anyway, I still need to buy their album. I'll add it to my "to buy" list (and they actually have a record contract nowadays!).

For real, I don't know where the comments about them playing "shitfaced" and "horribly" would come from...I've seen them multiple times and although they may or may not have been drunk, they've never let it mess with their playing...they've sounded amazing every time. Brandon always sings well and the rest of the band is awesome as well.

As for the video, I thought it was kind of funny, I enjoyed it. But I still like "My Name Is Trouble" or "Why Am I Always Right?" better for singles. But what do I know? They probably chose it cause it's least controversial. It's a happy song, straight up.

Personally, this is one of my least favorite songs. I still like it a bunch, though.

"Why am I always right" shines like no other song on that CD, in my eyes.

I'm 99 percent sure I saw this video on that very same show like 2 or 3 weeks ago...it's just Brandon walking around what looks like Chinatown and some footage of them playing a bit...

Because, no matter what we say, we're unreliable Neanderthals.
There isn't NOY "hate". It's people having an opinion.
This isn't a very solid song to make a single in my opinion. "My Name is Trouble", "Dear Scene..", hell even "Heaven Runs on Oil" are all more solid songs to release if they want it on MTV2, Fuse, and radio. There's not that "catchy-factor" to this song compared to the others on the CD.

I agree about the single. Loved them live, waaay better than DEP as support for AFI.

I agree with both statements. "Dear Scene, I Wish I Were Deaf" and "My Name Is Trouble" are also favorites.

Also agreed. The first single choice was a good one ("I Want To Be Buried In Your Backyard").
