Anyone listened to it yet? I'm at school but I saw that it was available...
I'm interested to know what people think, because I really like "Where We Belong"

Listened to it a few times and it's good.
So far, just seems to be a slightly darker Liberation Transmission, with the introduction of some interludes like on previous albums. Definitely recommend it, and I'll try and form a better decision when I've given it a few proper listens (been doing University work whilst listening to it in the background).

Oh and I love Lostprophets
I heard 'The Light That Shines Twice As Bright' on the radio and it sounds really good. 'Where We Belong' is a good song although I do prefer it when they do things a little heavier e.g. 'Start Something' era.

I pre ordered it a while ago, I've heard a few of the songs live and they sound pretty sick.

Still not all the way through, but so far I think that's my favorite besides "Where We Belong"

Where We Belong has a huge chorus, and agreed it's probably my favourite.

I don't understand why so many people hate Liberation Transmission. It's one of my favorite albums! By the way, are they gonna release any new singles on the US iTunes before The Betrayed comes out? It seems like all of their new stuff is being released only on the UK iTunes.

Just finished listening. I like it more than Liberation Transmission. There's a certain inventiveness present on their first two albums that I don't think this album or Liberation Transmission have, and I really miss that. Overall, though, I really enjoyed it.

I'm aware that this site is a little more "conservative" when it comes to illegal downloading, I was hoping someone would just hook me up in a PM...but it's cool I already found it. I bought their last 2 albums, these days I'm strapped for cash so I like to hear albums before buying them now

With the exception of Where We Belong, which is a stellar track, the rest of the album is poo IMHO

Oh my God this is terrible. I stopped listening at Next Stop Atrocity.
I had Start Something on the other day too, and it's just as awesome as I remember. They've lost it so much.

Upon first impressions this still isn't the 'return to form' I was hoping for. And yes Start Something is awesome.

Got the album today. Listened to it a few times. Overall I would give it a 7 out of 10. I give it this as all the songs are good and I can listen to them, but it is still too 'pop-y' for my liking.
I do understand that they cannot just jump back to a previous genre of music and this is a step forward, but I would prefer more songs like 'Next Stop, Atro City, and 'DSTRY/DSTRY'.
Favourite song on it = either 'For He's A Jolly Good Felon' or Streets of Nowhere'.
OH! And does anyone else think the guitar lines on 'Streets Of Nowhere' sound strangley similar to 'Are You Gunna Be My Girl' by Jet?

Wasn't The Betrayed suposed to come to the US today? I checked on iTunes and at our local Best Buy and neither of them had it.

You stopped at Atrocity? Really? That is the most complex, and badass, track on the entire album. The percussion and the guitar. The shift changes. The screaming....that track is so damn good...it's my 3rd favorite.

Heard both of the singles on the radio and decided to relisten on youtube.
Pure apathy for it. It just seemed like there had been no progression what so ever from previous work.
