This is precisely the reason why I despise aluminum bats.

i remember something like the ball comes off the bat at like only 5-6 mph lower from wood bats than aluminum.

same thing happened to me when I was 17. I was pitching and a kid hit a line drive and hit off the left side of my head the ball bounced to the first basemen and we got the out. I was knocked out for like 2 minutes and didn't pitch again for like 2 months. I didn't find it funny the, but thinking back on it if I would have seen me get hit I probably would have laughed

I was playing third base once and I hurt a kid. First baseman threw me a grounder for practice, I fielded it and threw it to first. One problem. The pitcher was facing me and I cracked him right in the nose. I broke the kid's nose.
