I recorded this at last nights City & Colour show in Chicago. He goes on to play "Day Old Hate" afterwards. If you don't know the story, Alternative Press wrote Dallas Green's name as "Dallas Taylor" twice in the January issue. Dallas states at the end of the small "rant whilst tuning" that he's overreacting.

it wasn't a misspelling though. they were giving him a Best Guitarist commendation for his work in Alexisonfire and confused his name with the guy who used to scream in Underoath. It's like calling Jesse Lacey "Jesse McCartney." It'll piss him and his fans off, haha. I'm pretty sure they'll be getting a lot of flack for it but like Dallas said in the video, it would've taken the absolute smallest bit of research on AP's part to know his last name.

I read AP too, but very rarely. I think the last time I read it was when they wrote that feature article about Anberlin. Usually it annoys me enough that I don't bother to look at the cover.

I'm almost positive that Dallas Green is named after that guy, since his parents were Phillies fans and he was born in 1980, when they won the World Series

edit* Just checked, and he is. His dad bet on the Phillies to win, and when they did, he named his son after their manager
