I remember at work one time this kid came up to the register and said "Can you put on It Dies Today??" and I immediately replied "No, It Dies Today is terrible" and the most depressing look spread across his face, so I followed it up with a "Nah, we just...can't put on anything specific" (which was a lie).
In all seriousness though, if I made a list of "top 10 cheesiest metalcore bands," IDT is probably in the upper half.

forever scorned was and is their best cd. especially when they re-recorded it. i dont care how good this new cd is, forever scorned is the best.
From what I heard from the new CD, it is the shit. 10 times better than the last album. Some very heavy tracks and some melodic ones.
I think this will be good.

top 10 cheesiest? there are metalcore bands FAAAAR cheesier than it dies today like bullet for my valentine, atreyu, eighteen visions, manntis, inner surge, job for a cow boy, etc. despite their cheesiness, i like a lot of those bands but you have to give IDT a little more credit.

I'm looking forward to this.
I don't mind the singing, but if he just stuck to screaming it wouldn't hurt my feelings.

you think job for a cowboy is cheesy? i never even considered them metalcore... the rest of the bands yes, and lets throw aiden in that mix, if you can even call them metalcore.. or music.
