Who likes the old dashboard as opposed to the new dashboard? or vice versa?

Personally, i like both, but i know that people don't feel the same as me.

He should have stopped after The Places... because that album will not be topped.

I can't help but feel like he's trying too hard on Dusk and Summer. I dont know why, though.

Dusk and Summer is pretty shitty.

The whole "rock" sound feels so contrived coming from Chris Carrabba...

I still think new dashboard sounds just like further seems forever.

so old dashboard, even though I'm kind of out of that phase of my life. maybe I'll listen to places or swiss army and see how I feel about it again.

though dusk and summer wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be...even though I can't remember a thing about it.

I think only new song that is good is "The Secrets In The Telling", besides that all the new stuff is horrible.

Swiss Army Romance is great, Dusk And Summer is great, but im not a fan of his other do releases for whatever reason...

dusk and summer isnt bad. its more hopeful instead of sorrowful, like the first 2 full lengths. "a mark..." i try to completely forget about. one of the biggest let downs.

Once the band was added, i quickly lost interest. There are a few good ones on the last album, but dusk and summer is terrible.

nothing can top Old for me but i like his new stuff. AMAMABAS wasn't that bad, in my opinion. and Dusk and Summer is very good.

i vigorously disagree. new dashboard sounds nothing like FSF. the only way it would sound like FSF would be if chris got back together with the original members. those guys are muy talented and "the moon is down" continues to be my favorite record of all time.

"the places..." is his best record as dashboard.

and to whoever used "hands down" as a pun, saying it was not intended...it was intended.

i like thinking of dashboard as "he" not "they"...almost every song of Dusk and Summer was full band and not as good as the other stuff...id prolly like it better if it wasnt dashboard confessional.

Well, that's probably because Chris used to be in Further Seems Forever.

Anyway, I personally like the old Dashboard better. Although I am still a fan of the new stuff.. nothing beats Swiss Army Romance and The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most.

Dusk and Summer was so boring. It was like one continuous song, it all sounded the same.

Dusk and summer is 8 of almost the same song. There not bad , but there not great. Swiss army romance is by far the best work he did. He stepped away from Further seems forever and did something different. His guitar work was good and the lyrics were what we come to know as Dashboard Confessional.

A mark , a mision ....... is the biggest piece of crap album I ever listened to, i know thats just my opinion but it was horrible.

The greatest thing Chris could have done musically was to reunite with FSF and be an amazing band. Those guys in that band got screwed many times over and I feel bad for them.

I saw Dashboard on this last tour and it was quite surreal to see him running around on stage with no guitar and pounding his chest like the singer from Creed. I'm not saying people and styles cant change I just like the old stuff much better and will always respect him for contributing 2 great albums,The moon is down , and Swiss Army romance.
