good picks...lawrence arms is my personal fav, with thursday a close second. saves the day and moneen are great openers as well...you forgot 'suture self' by the loved ones, thats another great one. or 'we dance on the ruins of the stupid stage' by none more black. another good one. but i'll stand by the lawrence arms, cuz that song rips.

i chose tbs cause i love that song, but "in regards to myself" by underoath maybe one of the best tracks released this year

I voted Moneen... so much energy in this song, all the right ingredients for the first track on an album. But Underoath's "In Regards To Myself" is by far the best opening track of the year, and definitely one of the best ever.
