The Junior Varsity (http://www.myspace.com/thejuniorvarsity) would like to appologize from the bottom of their hearts to the enormous crowd whom stood in the rain, lightning, and thunder waiting for them to play yesterday before Jack's Mannequin (http://www.absolutepunk.net/jacksmannequin) at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Apparently, The Junior Varsity was one of only 2 bands in the last 12 years not able to play due to weather conditions.

I went to the Twilight Army Tour at the rave, and on the way we got stuck in that rain storm....it was insane.....I have not seen it rain that hard in a long time!

the storm was the most intense thing i have ever been outside during.
i sucked that TJV didnt get to play and then my friends decided we were going home before jacks mannequin

That sucks, they are awesome dudes. And by they, I mean Nick Dodson, who is probably my favorite member of any band ever. So nice.

Wow that sucks but it was cool of him to apologies. I'm hoping the weather stays good for Warped this Saturday.

yeah that sucks! those guys are so awesome and I bet they looked forward to playing.

It really did suck to miss them, but I'm pretty sure that more than two bands have been cancelled due to weather at Summerfest. We haven't had the best luck in the past few years. Well that and a good number of bands got cancelled the first day due to power outages also.

junior varsity has the best luck.... last time they were supposed to play with Jack's in lawrence kansas they got stuck in a snow storm.

Yeah, with all the mugging/robberies TJV must be like the unluckiest band ever.
