Blacklisted To Break Up

Philadelphia hardcore band Blacklisted (http://www.absolutepunk.net/blacklisted) will be disbanding this summer. Formed in 2003, the group has released material with Deathwish Inc. (http://www.deathwishinc.com) and Stillborn Records. Their final shows will be California's Sound And Fury Festival 2006 late this month and This Is Hardcore Fest in mid-August in Philadelphia. Notably, the performances will feature Blacklisted guitarist Tim, who has been battling a heart ailment as of late.

whipcream is clearly a moron and should be ignored. not only is this band hardworking, but they were also one of the best hardcore bands out there. i got the chance to interview the guitarist tim a couple months ago and he was really cool.

Wow, I'm so upset. This band is fucking amazing. I mean I get why they're breaking up, but I was hoping for a couple more solid albums. An amazing band and I'm going to miss the shit out of them.

Guess I'll be in Philly.
