Panic! at the Disco much? Not so much the chorus, but the verses...Yeah. I was big on these guys when I was listening to their first few songs, but I lose interest with each new listen. I really want to like them, but I just can't get into the new material.

did squire try to make the vocals sound like panic?

The song isn't bad although I don't think any of their songs could ever beat The Great Escape.

Worst song on the CD IMO, horrible single choice. Don't write the band off because of this song ... the CD itself is much better than this track implies. :)

'hero/heroine' would make a better single imo.

I prefer "Hero/Heroine" to the newly posted song. Still definitely looking forward to their CD though.

"The Great Escape" is the single. Hands down could be like FOB/Simple Plan HUGE in 2007. The new version is fucking fantastic.

Jason: I like your comparison of this band to Off by One. That cd was full of catchy pop goodness. I'm not really into these guys though. Who was the staff member who use to pimp Off by One all the time, I don't remember off hand. Was that Jeremy Rankin???

Agreed, not as good as Hero/Heroine. Even so, you gotta be excited by this CD from what we've heard so far and the way people are talking about it.

I wonder how much it will mimic Panic!, though, with Squire's influence. Maybe someone who's heard the whole thing can shed some light...

i'm really looking forward to this cd!! and the fact that these dudes are from mass as well makes it 10x better haha :) does anyone know if the song "thunder"( i think thats the name of the song, the acoustic one..) is going to be electric on the cd, that'd be pretty cool if it was :). i dont even care these guys are so much better than PANIC!

This man speaks the truth. When the told me the single I was like "really?"

Oh well, this album has about 4 or 5 singles on it so no worries.

It's catchier than Panic! and has more substance: it's better.

Hush your mouth, Mr. Tate!

Mentioning a song that great with a band like Simple Plan makes me vomit in my mouth.

But I agree it would be huge...like bird flu huge!

wow, im super suprised that most people are "trashing" Boys Like Girls. personally, i really like them! they sounds pretty amazing. i dont think they sound like panic at all. on the other hand, im tired of listening to panic over and over again. they get boring.
