Sort Of. You should read the book "A Saucerful of Secrets". Its the definitive work on Pink Floyd.

Fuck that. Syd Barrett Wwas doing punk things way before "punk" was around. From covering his mouth on Top of the Pops to other firsts, Syd Barrett Pink Floyd was an eye opener at that time. Syd Barrett was also doing glam years before it was popular. Listen to "Piper at the Gates of Dawn". It is a masterpiece. If you can't appreciate Syd Barrett and what he has done for music you are a fool.

Anyone who says good to this death is a waste of oxygen

they releases something new every year to cash in on the name. The release is nothing special. Go buy Pink Floyd - live at pompeii if you want to watch a real floyd movie.

This is so sad. It'd be cool if this somehow influenced the band to reunite with Roger and do a last tour or something. But that's probably just wishful thinking.

This is the first thing my dad told me this morning. Pink Floyd is one of his favorite bands of all-time, so that's really sad. We'll miss ya, Syd.
