Goodbye Tomorrow (http://www.myspace.com/goodbyetomorrow) has posted a new song on their MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/goodbyetomorrow). Also, the band has officially signed to Equal Vision Records (http://www.equalvision.com/evr/news.php#330). Below is the statement from the label:
We are very proud to welcome Phoenix, Arizona-based Goodbye Tomorrow (http://www.myspace.com/goodbyetomorrow) to our roster.

Goodbye Tomorrow's beautiful sound is accented by vocals from Travis Bryant, former front man from Tooth & Nail Records' now defunct band, Terminal.

A 3-song self-titled EP has been completed and will be available online and at all Goodbye Tomorrow shows starting in August. Listen to two songs off the EP at Goodbye Tomorrow's MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/goodbyetomorrow).

The band recently played sold-out shows in California with Angels & Airwaves and Chiodos, and are planning an EP release show in Tempe, AZ this August.

Man, these new songs are pretty good but definitely not what I had hoped from them. They had so much potential.

i love goodbye tomorrow, but nothing will ever bring them back to the level they were at with matt...anybody know what he is up to btw? though i'm still quite pleased that they brought in travis, he's probably the only singer talented enough to keep this band close to where they were. i'm excited.

ps- anybody know where i can buy/download/listen to their old ep? i am mad they took it off purevolume.

They certainly sound a lot less like Jimmy Eat World now.

I just can't work out if that's a good or bad thing though?

HAD? um... they haven't even released a record yet. How did they lose potential? please explain.

Well, I am definitely not opposed to bands changing their sound and growing. But compared to the EP, these new songs sound like every other typical pop-rock band. And while their EP was definitely very JEW esque, the songs were a lot more epic sounding and pretty. And the fact they kicked out Niles is very disappointing. He brought so much to the band. Especially live. I still dig these guys though so we shall wait and see.
