I did this last year with pretty good results, but I wanted to get some feedback on what you all think about doing it this year. For those who weren't here or don't remember, I set up a Nominations thread for people to give theirs on various categories. After a period of time, I made a thread announcing the nominations so people could PM me their votes.

I'll start it up this year if enough people are interested, and maybe we could get more people involved by also putting it in the General forum.

Here were the categories from last year:

Best Picture
Actor in a Leading Role
Actor in a Supporting Role
Actress in a Leading Role
Actress in a Supporting Role
Animated Feature Film
Cinematography
Directing
Music (Score)
Music (Song)
Visual Effects
Writing (Original or Adapted Screenplay)

Maybe we can create a category for worst of the year.

Anyway, looks like we have some good support. I'll post a thread in the General Forum so then we can start get this thing rolling. If you all have some suggestions on things to add, feel free to add them here.
