I've now listened to the few songs they've released thus far and im quite enjoying it.

They aren't breaking any ground, but this debut album seems like a bit of fun.

Thoughts?

Cool book.

I agree. Had to read it for year 12 and loved every second of it. Brilliant concept.

I don't know why, but this band really caught my ear as well. Austin is a great vocalist. I'll need to hear the rest of the album before I make any judgment though. My old band played with them a few months back and their live show was really fucking good.

I'm loving the debut album. Screaming is top notch and the clean vocalist has a pretty impressive voice

Sounds like every other Hot Topic scenecore band to me, don't see what's all the hype is about.

Yeah there's definitely nothing groundbreaking about this band/album but the production on the record is so good.

Steinbeck wrote it.

Hahaha, epic fail. I'm tired, and I've been writing an assignment on a Miller play... dumb/easy mistake to make :-/

This band is just a carbon copy of a copy of a copy. It's been done a million times before, and watered down just as much. This band is just a piss poor attempt at recreating what Underoath already did in 2003.

Also, this kind of pissed me off:

"Five days later the inevitable happened. They joined up with the two people that had stood by them since day one. Rise and Artery were always considered family, and after hearing the song, they accepted us into theirs."

This band has worked for NOTHING. They deserve NONE of the ridiculous amounts of attention they've been getting when bands that have been around for 10+ years still aren't getting their due. They got signed based on ONE SONG and before they even played a single show. All because Austin "christcore trend poster boy" Carlile was previously in Attack Attack (I'm not even going to go there though, that band is a fucking abomination and a story for another day). This band has zero redeeming factors at all. John Steinbeck would not be proud.

This can't be any truer. Not to mention the very last sentence you said hahahaha.
