Korn as the headliner? What the fuck. Lamb of God will be my only reason to go.

Jager Stage + Norma Jean/Atreyu/3IOB/Lamb of God for me.

I won't lie, I am kinda curious to see Korn though.

every year it seems that the main stage is horrible, but the smaller ones are good.

Still not going.

Rob Zombie would be cool to see, but I think I'll wait when he goes on another headliner.

I'll be going. Why not? There are some decent bands and there is always something to do if you don't like a band that's playing. Like, watch the motocross.

I was gonna make this thread a few days ago, but I figured itd be a instant Hate thread. But yes I wanna go extremely bad. Just saw KoRn recently for 10 bucks and they were good. Ive always wanted to see Zombie. Lamb Of God is good, Shadows fall is also good and I discovered both of them together opening for Slipknot a while back. Winds of Plague is ok. Hatebreed is fucking bomb... and of course the lonley Christian band on Mayhem, like underoath the first year, Norma Jean is AMAZING only IF they play mostly Bless the Martyr or anything BEFORE the anti mother.
I have a feeling they might becaus ethe music will match the tour better

This lineup is pretty awful compared to to last year's lineup, which was pretty solid. At this point, I'm putting my money towards Ozzfest, which hopefully will get it's act together and brings out a much better lineup than this.

this line up isnt horrible. lamb of god are great as are shadows fall but last year had slayer, manson, kse, and bfmv on mainstage. they got a lot lighter this year compared to that. its still fun either way and with warped tour shaping up to be good too im gonna be broke this summer

I'm contemplating going to PNC on 7/28, especially if i find out I won't be able to get into the city on August 1st for Summer Slaughter. The setlists so far look kind of decent (Best looking sets to me are Winds of Plague's and Hatebreed's. Atreyu's isn't as bad as I was expecting either.) besides Lamb of God's, which i don't like at all. If I end up going, I'm probably going to watch almost all of the small stage bands (besides the Jagermeister band we're getting in NJ and In This Moment), 5FDP, and Lamb of God. I might leave before Zombie, and if i stay for his set, I'm definitely leaving before Korn.

Haha, same here man. I haven't decided 100% yet but paying about 30 bucks to see Norma Jean play for 30 minutes is kinda ehhh. I really love Norma Jean though and it's quite unfortunate that they're not doing an off date from this shitfest tour playing in a small venue headlining in Colorado.

Yeah it would of been nice to see Norma Jean play at the Marquis tonight or something. Stoked to see them tomorrow but the rest of the lineup is just a bunch of generic, angry metal bands that do nothing for me.

There are two side stages that are next to each other. One band plays their set on one stage and after they're done, a band on the other stage starts. Once all the bands on those stages have played, the main stage starts.

The guitars are bad reiterations of power metal basics. The drums are so standard its embarassing. The lyrics are generic and cheesy. But these would be forgivable if the vocals weren't as bad as they are, the majority of which being screaming reminiscent of above hardcore bands. I admire their ambition, but i absolutely detest the result. Avoid them with your life, for it is not metal as it was meant to be.

Their sound has changed quite a bit since the release of their newest record, plus if they're not what metal should be, then what else on that tour is?

I think 3IoB is a great metal band. I love all kinda of metal. I thought 3 Inches of Blood's album, Fire Up the Blades, was an excellent album. Even if the lyrics are cheesy, it is still fun to listen to that stuff. I also enjoy Cam Pipes vocals. 3IoB have their own sound. For me, I can tell them apart from any other band.

By the way, how did anyone even get on 3 Inches of Blood's case when Atreyu is on that list?

I am with you on this one. Lamb of God is pure fucking American metal. I honestly don't think metal should be fighting metal though. It's like saying Brookes and Dunn is more country than Big and Rich. (Both suck cock) But, there is so many different metal bands with different sounds these days, there is bound to be a battle.

Just mind your own business then? Most kids get into trouble with older guys because they bring it on themselves. Stay with your own group or find a younger crowd. It is simple as that.Bigger guys arent going out looking to beat on little bitches. but, if need be, fuck them.
