haircut advice needed bad

I've been trying to grow my hair out long but don't have the patience anymore to deal with it as it is. Can someone give me some ideas for short haircuts? I want to do something different.

mustache definitely needs to go, and I'm thinking go for the shorter messier look, use some hair spray or something like that. The "bed-head" look is kinda "in" right now

Yeah, I agree about the mustache. Either you have some scruff/full beard or nothing at all. And about the hair, cutting it would be nice, then styling it to your preference. Like someone said before me, the "messy" look might work.

Thanks for the replies so far. Ya, i was gonna shave this morning but was running late. I usually rock a 5 oclock shadow kinda deal, but I've almost been preferring being clean shaven lately.

Kinda want to avoid products simply because I don't want to have to put that much effort into it, but I've been realizing that washing my hair makes it annoyingly fluffy and feathered, so i'm probably going to pick up some shit anyway. Does anyone have a pic of a good example of a short messy look? I got a good stylist friend I can take it to to help give her an idea to work off of.
