Gah, what happened to this band. They are absolutely terrible now. The last disc wasn't too bad. This is awful though.

Gah, I'm gonna be the only one defending them in this thread...

This latest disc is different as they wanted it to be a pop/rock album, rather than their last album which had a metal flavour to it. Its actually got to #1 in the UK, and is a fantastic album when you open your mind to it.

This isn't my favorite song, but I did happen to pick this album up recently and I gotta say I love it. I like Start Something more, but yeah, I agree with Steve: fuck all the haters.

"Everybody's Screaming!!!" and "Can't Stop, Gotta Date With Hate"...good lord, they've got some teeth on them hooks, and they can't let go out my brain!

Fuck yeah it is. Let's face it, the whole CD is great and people need to realize that. The UK kids know what's up, and fortunately, so do some of us.

ive been into them since the early days, i'm just sick of them constantly trying to catch onto the latest trend.

its catchy yes, but its also very hollow.

I have not listen to the new LP album but Ive only heard bad things. LP are so awesome live as was their last album. Im in-between right now.

agree with steve and the guys, this album is really really good.

we all know its glossy sound produced by bob rock but its catchy as hell. and not all "cut my wrist and bite my arm"-ish. its positive rock, and if you do positive rock, like lostprophets and all american rejects (to a degree) youre bound to get haters.

everyday combat is this years most catchy tune!

Why isn't anyone talking about The Fake Sound of Progress? That was their only good album IMO. I'm not trying to be an elitist, the songs were just better.

Same here. I think Start Something is better, only because when I got into them, it was that album that hooked me in. But shit, the new album is kickass, and it's gotten me into them again! So, I'm at a crossroads...

to be honest, for me they have gone downhill with each release. give me TFSOP any day. the new material i find annoying.
