I know it's what "philly fans" are known for... but is any other fan of Philadelphia sports tired of how quick a good portion of fans turn on a player, team, etc..?
I don't know.... I guess it's just getting old seeing people boo certain players and what not like a week after they were cheering.

i'm not from philly, so i don't know exactly what its like ..
but up here, we are known for being very critical. but while you may be referring to a sort of "what have you done for me lately attitude", we tend to support losers as long as it seems like they are trying to win.
for instance, we tolerate rebuilding as long as there seems to be a direction ( the celtics are an example).

Maybe It's just like that everywhere. I don't know, I just find it ridiculous that just a few weeks ago people were proclaiming Aaron Rowand as a god and now they're giving him shit because he isn't hitting well.
and talk on other msgboards about the team is just disgusting.

most philly fans are too stupid to realize Rowand was never a great hitter.
I'm pissed about our wasted money in players like Lieberthal, Bell, and Burrell.

i boo and complain, but i never stop watching. and i usually don't start disliking a player until the mess up for an extended period of time and usually don't start liking them again until they do well for an extended period of time.
i think philly fans almost think their reputation gives them license to treat some of the players like shit rather than be supportive. but i think right now it's just utter frustration, i guarantee if they put the front office on the field next to the players, the boos wouldn't be at the players.

no trading AJ Feely for a 3rd round pick makes the Eagles smart and the Dolphins dumb.

what is the difference between fans booing A-rod? and then cheering for him when he hits the walk-off?

because people are retarded and think that booing somebody that much helps. like a-rod needs people in the stands to motivate him...

people boo the phillies because besides ryan howard, utley, and rowand...they all deserve to be booed because they have been playing the same way for 13 years.

cole in a few years. he can't pitch in this league yet.
I think he is confused by the term walks compared to strike-outs.
