Wow. How can you possibly be restful while listening to such extreme and abrasive bands?
EDIT: You're new, so to be a little less mean, I'll say welcome to the forums. Don't let people like me being assholes get you down. Hopefully you find some new music you can dig and engage in a few good musical discussions on here.

No. More that it was her first post. I hate people who are mean to newcomers, just because they're new. So I wanted to temper my douchebaggery a touch.

Yeah, I know there's plenty of decent people around. It just seems like for every one of them, there's like 3 cynical assholes.

Nine Days-Madding Crowed CD or whatever it was called. So easy to sit out on a bench somewhere and relax to.
I'm the loser still waiting for a new Nine Days CD.
I write ambient music on my own for just this reason. Also, I will not post a link to it, for fear of being raped with words upon the very site I love.
But I can point you to Andy McKee, who is incredible.

I also like Clarity, Mae's "Destination:Beautiful" and "The Everglow", and "Cities" by Anberlin, just because I know them better than any other album.

I do that too. Last night I fell asleep listening to mewithoutYou (A to B Life) and I fell asleep to Thursday for months. It's just relaxing to me because I like the music.

Specifically, "Caves." Just so dang eerie.

Specifically, "As Long as We Keep Our Bodies Numb We're Safe." I put this CD in, lie down, and get through the "harder" songs throughout, but by the time I get to that long end of the last song... It's just so repetitive and calming to me, if that makes any sense.

See FWYK, only replace it's last song with "23" and "Drugs or Me."

May well be. The title track gets a fair bit of airplay here (even though it's on either Capital or Radio 2).

Agreed. The title track is one of the best-produced songs I've ever heard. And "If It Doesn't Come Naturally, Leave It" is quite awesome.
