Before heading over to pick this up I looked at bestbuy.com to see how much it was and I was shocked to find it was $28. A call over to a local Best Buy confirmed this.

I thought the addition of The Story So Far DVD was a bonus to the package and not just an added cost.

I'm assuming they will be selling this for cheaper on their upcoming tour, so I'll be picking it up then.

That's where I got mine from. Still cheaper even with shipping.

Best Buy price matches. Print out the Amazon page and bring it in. You'll get it for $15.

IF you can find it at a Best Buy. I've been to two Best Buys, a Target, an FYE, and two Hot Topics and have not seen one. I'm going to Amazon right now even though i HATE waiting a week for a CD i'd rather walk into a store and buy.

Some Best Buy's won't match Amazon. It really depends on who you ask and what employee price for the item is.

I worked at Best Buy and was never told that we did price matches, so that may not be a company choice, but a store by store choice. And the employee price for CDs is like 10 cents less than full price. That's not an area where the discount is as beneficial.

Don't buy music at Best Buy. They are dumb. And the people that work there are snobs and could care less. Find any other way. Oh, and this is at a $14.99 sale price this week at Newbury Comics.

Probably a good idea to never shop at Best Buy again.

I've actually found the people who "care" are the snobby ones. I hear best buy is scaling back their music. Its a shame it was actually a decent place for music pretty wide selection and usually the price was decent. Which Newbury Comics location is closest to the Metro Detroit area?

Thats about average what CDs are here (in Aus $). So I'm expecting that when I see it in stores. Ridiculous prices here.

I guess they seem to be relegated to only New England. http://www.newburycomics.com/rel/v2_home.php?storenr=103&deptnr=60
There must be an equivalent in that part of the country but I wouldn't know.

They won't match online retailers like Amazon, only in-store competitors.

I worked at Best Buy for a while. We price matched. It wouldn't hurt to try. Or instead of wasting ink and paper, just order it from Amazon. Or spend 30 bucks on something better.

Hey guys stop hating on Best Buy. You have any idea how many $8 albums they sold last year?

I just stopped by with a print out of the CD from amazon.com and they said they only do price matches of local competition. The Target next door didn't have it.

So that would be about 25 US dollars? Do people actually pay close to 30 dollars for a CD there? If that was the price of an album here nobody would ever buy music!

Yeah, that's how the Best Buy I used to work at operates. I don't know why they would charge that much for it, but I'd definitely say either order it online, or wait until they come to your town to play a show.

Definitely doing the latter when I saw them in March.

Sweet. I may pick it up when they come here on Feb 8th. I'm pretty stoked. I can never see them too many times live.

That's your best bet. Probly the cheapest too. There aren't smaller stores around you that could special order it?

Do they sell cd's in Bathurst? I thought the only thing you can buy there is automotive spare parts and automotive accessories.

Haha, not surprising, all we're really known for is the bathurst 1000. But yes, we happen to have a pretty decent record store here called Stop 'n Rock.
