OK, now I'll admit that I haven't heard much of their stuff, but after hearing 'I'll bet that you look good on the dance floor', I'd already made up my mind about them.

Dude, songs are meant to have a MELODY. Something you can hum along to. Honestly, with that kind of rhythm, I don't think they have any right to judge who looks good on the dance floor.

some of the music i listen too you cant hum along too, and its better than bands that actually have melody in their songs... i see nothing wrong with it, and im not even a fan of the arctic monkeys but i believe that song does have some catchy riffs, so i dont know what your thinking.

i like them, there is melody. the singer's got some personality and wit to his voice, and the guitarwork isn't very cliche'. good band.
