This makes me sadder than the losses of Salinger and Zinn, as much as I hated Harvey he was responsible for some great films being released

Very sad, they released some amazing movies. When I was first getting into movies a majority of what got me interested came from Miramax.

Wow. So many of my favorite movies came from Miramax. I always thought if I ever made a movie, Miramax would be the one to buy it.

Obviously the chances of that would have been pretty fucking slim

that article is very poorly written

I like a lot of movies that have come from Miramax, though good movies will always find their way out into the world, even without them.

So lame. The Weinstein's are cocksuckers, but they are responsible for giving Kev his break, so at the same time I love them. RIP, for sure.
