I looked for the thread but I couldnt find it...

I just wanted to say that I finally finished watching this show in entirety last night and that it was asbolutely without doubt, the single best written drama to ever grace any screen anywhere.
I had my doubts. There were moments when I was totally skeptical but goddamn did it ever pull through. NOTHING, EVER that I have ever seen on television or in theaters has ever reduced me to tears like that. I was a blubbering mess.
I can now ALMOST justify HBO asking $100 freakin bucks for those sets. Honestly I dont think a finale' like that will ever be topped. I've never seen a work of fiction so deeply REAL in my life.
thank you alan ball, and even HBO.

if you people havent seen it, give it a chance, netflix the shit or something. its worth the 60 hour ride. Im still reeling from it.

Now, Imagine you had to wait a week to see the next episode, and a year and a half (sometimes longer) for the next season, and you can have some semblance of what we had to go through.

Now, FUCK HBO for killing Carnivale!

Six Feet Under was my favorite show of all time!

I'm just happy that Entourage has gotten so good that I can forget about SFU...although SFU will always have a place in my heart and on my dvd shelf.

theres no way any show can be as emotionally gripping as Six Feet Under was though. That was the reason I did wait for all of the seasons to come out on dvd, so I could avoid the horrible wait that HBO puts its viewers through.
Bit yes, I do seriously hate them for cancelling Carnivale. that was my Twin Peaks "replacement"

You wont regret it. I've never had a piece of television jar me to the core like that.
you love and hate the same characters on and off just as you do the people in your life. They go through real life things that matter, not over the top super drama made for tv situations. And they react just like you and I would.
Its just absolutely crazy how subtle this is. You dont realize how much its effected you until its all done. in those last 10 minutes that it all unravels and you're left a fucking mess.
if that doesnt make you cry, nothing in your life ever will.
