arent they going alllllllll the way down?
sorry, Serie B... with a 30point deduction.
i'd be surprised if they got out with that sort of deduction, and theyll probably lose their players.
Roma for the Scudetto next season haha!

Juventus has always been my favourite team, but I haven't been following them lately since I'm in Canada now and I'd have to wake up early on the weekends to catch the matches. This is heartbreaking though.

they wont come up next season. not with 30point deduction... theyll be in Serie B for 2 seasons, because of that they wont be able to hold on to all their players.
Roma obviously my favourite Serie A team, and theyre clean as a whistle.

Yeah I know and that's what depresses me. It's not only about the team, it's about the players too. They're the ones that made me love the team and to see some of them go is just heartbreaking. I find it sad that because of some people, so many others get punished.
that fucking sucks
no it doesnt, it's more than justified... cheating should be punished to the full extent of football law haha.
plus im sat with a smile on my face because Lazio got relegated
Real Madrid and Chelsea will have a field day with this... how many Juve players to Real Madrid now that Capello is there you reckon?
i have no ill feeling for Fiorentina.. but they did take the 4th spot ahead of Roma last season and now Roma get CL spot anyway, i was a bit disappointed they got relegated though.
Luciano Moggi suspended from ALL football for 5years (weak sentence considering he was the instigator.. should be banned from football permenantly)

I just on Yahoo! that Juventus will be in Serie B with a 20 point deduction, not 30.
im getting my info from SkySports News, and it definately says 30, not gonna say it definately is 30, but its what theyre saying, and they have reporters out there live

Wow this is huge news...I'm a Roma fan as well so I'm not nearly as upset as I'm sure fans of clubs involved are, but it is still upsetting to see something like this happen.
Roma fans account for almost 7% of all Italian football fans, as far as im aware its the second most well supported club behind Juventus.

hahahha no Lazio in serie a
I assume Milan and Juve have lost their CL spots too.
This is good to see. I'd rather have Juve in Serie C with a ten point deduction though.

Yeah I'm just pissed about Fiorentina, i can't really argue with cheating. I was at the Fiorentina / Juventus Champions League quailfer in the fall. It was pretty intense, they stopped the game for about 15 minutes because the police teargassed a riot in the parking lot. It was awesome

They were in the same group in CL?
There really should be a way to do the groups so that two teams from the same league can't be in the same group, barring some miracle.

I just read an article on soccernet about AC Milan wanting to play in UEFA next year and that they had a 44 point deduction taken from their total last season. Does anyone know what the 'revised' Serie A standings look like?
The mercato will be huge in a few days.

I've heard that AC Milan hardly did anything at all, apparently it was a board member being dodgy without anyone else knowing, if thats the case then that must be so frustrating.

He's on the board, he represents the club, so if he bribes a referee, it is the club's fault for appointing a board member who is that bent.
mercato?
it's the italian name for "transfer".
