The rumors going around about (ie. probably being self-spread) The 1985 Bears (http://www.myspace.com/the1985bears) having Joe from Fall Out Boy (http://www.absolutepunk.net/falloutboy)'s brother in the band are NOT TRUE. Joe's brother just graduated highschool and is not in this band.

LOL, my roommate just joined the band as their drummer (Scott Boyce). Be nice guys. The guys stayed at my apartment when my roommate was moving out and getting his shit in order, they didn''t seem like the type to spread these rumors, not to mention, they left for tour right after they picked up my roommate, so unless they're spreading rumors on their sidekicks between shows, I doubt they would be able to spread these rumors.

They have links to all their member's purevolumes, myspaces, and AIM screen names on their myspace page, not to mention new band photos including the new drummer that were taken here in Orlando. Why would they attempt such rumors?

He once laid claim to being the only reason why Milwaukee had a music scene.....

I've never even heard anything this band has done, but just for this lame stunt, I think they are lame.

I mean, it just sounds ricockulous to say "featuring Joe Trohman of Fall Out Boy's brother". That sounds like such a reach for fans. "Oh shit, Joe from FOB's bro is in this band? Then they must fucking rock, dude!"

these replies were a good read. just to clear things up, the 85 bears were the best football team ever. ditka was the best coach ever. the bulls will pwn in the next few years. the white sox will repeat. and i know the next big band to come out of the chi.
