I just got FIFA World Cup 2006 in the mail..

Prepare to waste your life on it. My friends and I have had some epic tournaments. Its really fun, get a group of dudes, whether they like soccer or not and youve got yourself an evening. Time flies by and then all of a sudden, you missed your dentist appointment, school and dinner, the kicker? you dont care. ENJOY!!

I love it, it's so good. I have to get Xbox Live, so I can enjoy it more.

Fifa flows a lot better on ps2. That plus the fact it is easier to score for outside the box . On Xbox it isnt that common to score on a shot outside the box

Yeah in the game its super hard to make a perfect shot to the goal. It either goes over by a mile or wide.

I was the same exact way a few months ago (you can look in various soccer threads) and I thought that there was no way Winning Eleven (Pro Ev outside the US), could be better than any FIFA game, but it is. The FIFA graphics are better, and they have more teams and leagues, but as long as you don't want to play in Mexico or the MLS it's a way better game. If Winning Eleven ever got the rights to all the teams and leagues it would be scary.
Also in WE, they already have a World Cup tournament to play, so you don't have to have to buy a new game. Only downside is that it doesn't have all the African nations or the really tiny European ones (San Marino).

It was a little hard to figure out some of the transfer things in WE just because it wasn't instantaneous like with FIFA.
As it says above FIFA really is a boy's game. I didn't think it would be true, but it is.
