i never said it equaled good. I named beers mostly from Canada (where i'm from) and beers that i've tried and liked. I chose Amstel as my favorite. yeah, I mean 'good' is relative. natural light makes molson look downright gourmet. I also didn't realize you were in canada, which definitely puts a damper on the availability of most of the stuff I mentioned. I haven't had trouble finding it anywhere in the midwest/southeast where I spend the majority of my time, though.

but more importantly, craft/microbrewing is getting easy enough and cheap enough that you can find good beer almost anywhere if you're willing to look.
