Winter/Spring Athletes Thread

I run the mile for indoor/outdoor track for my high school, best time this year has been a 5:30 but on a terrible 200 track

Sweet dude, I'm going to run the mile this year too. I used to run the 3200, but didn't like it.

First mile race ever - 5:19 on an indoor track.

I like cross country more though.

same here. I'm a HS senior though, so I'm done with XC (my pr was a 17:30), but i miss it. I hate running in circles.

That's state qualifying time in PA! Nice! Any tips on how to do better in the mile? besides running faster, of course :P

Dude, same here, my PR was just under that. I'll never forget it, we went to states at Hershey. We're like the same person though!

we did too! what school are you at? I'm from McDowell in Erie, we finished 20-something in the state.

I'm at Northern Lehigh from Slatington (near Allentown) , we're a AA school, and I think we were like 18th at states.
