because i don't know what other forum to put them. i've never ever in my life felt this way about a song, it is EXACTLY what i feel. the summer ends. mmm. beautiful guitars too. what a great band. so amazing.

i'm thinking about
leaving
and how i should say
goodbye
with a handshake
or an embrace
or a kiss on the cheek
or possibly all three

well maybe i've been wrong
maybe my intentions
are irrelevant
but honestly it's just not for me
we've both been so unhappy
so let's just see
what happens
when the summer ends

don't i know it. never meant is my favorite song by them, but i was listening to this and i realized that i am in the EXACT, exact situation, and it just struck me realllly personally. i'll probably be listening to this cd alll day.

This is my third favorite from them. Second is "Five Silent Miles" and the best is "Never Meant." All of the stuff they wrote was incredible though.

That album is stunning.
American Football has had its place with me since the 8th grade.
I'm a senior this year and I still can't get enough of them.

They were so good.
