Hahaha, you posted this fast!
Anyways, this is actually kind of funny. At times it seems like they have no idea what to say to the people calling in. Hahaha.

this is awkward for me. it was probably awkward for them.
Haven't listened yet, but that seems weird to have UO on Loveline.

yeah that seems.. extremely awkward. i remember the one with FOB being funny, though i cant imagine why loveline thinks people want advice from all these band dudes who write songs about how their relationships suck haha

i thought it was really interesting. i love the guys in underoath and i think it was sweet how they could talk about their openness about their religion as well as converstion about sex and relationships. right on! was it just me or was the song playing in a really slow tempo when they played "Writing on the Walls" like the tape deck was getting messed up or something? it sounded goofy.
I'm like halfway through this and it's pretty good so far. Yeah, the "Writing On The Walls" sounded so wierd so I fastforwarded it.

I think its funny that they are on there. And you could tell when they asked Spencer if he had had sex before that he didnt want to answer the question. Spencer is a normal Christian I think... meaning, he cusses, drinks, and probably still has sex with girls. Most christians dont follow a "christian" lifestyle. Including myself. I'm not proud of it, but oh well.

the cussing and drinking i have no problem with. but "normal chrisitan" i have a problem with. i cant speak for spencer in certainty but im fairly sure that he does not engage in any of the above. the reason he was hesitant to say he had had sex is most likely because he regretted it and didnt want people to think he condoned it.
the problem with the normal christian thing is that i dont know what a normal christian is. if a christian is a system of morals and regulations and beliefs. then i guess i am not one. but if it is a intimate, deeply personal, relationship with Jesus Christ then yes i am one. out of that love for Christ i choose not to do certain things and abstain from premarital sex. its just like a deep love for a man/woman where if you truely loved them enough youd choose not to do certain things that bother them.

What the crap is a normal Christian? If I'm just going to just have sex with girls just cause I can just say "oh well", then I hope I'm not a "normal" Christian.

that's such a retarded statement. it informs me that you didn't even listen to it before commenting on it.

I miss Adam. I can't listen to Loveline anymore. Dr. Drew is cool and all, but Adam brought some spice to it. Now it's just a snoozer.
Oh, and I'm not a religious person, but I admire the guys from Underoath. They write good music, and they seem like very stand-up fellas.
Stryker-"Hey how many albums have you put out?"
Underoath-" really 5....but 2 proper, we put out alot of albums in High School Nobody bought"
i can see that now they think their first 3 albums were nothing but a high school hobby
this makes me mad
