Rumor has it that this year's 111 Records (http://www.111records.com) tour will include This Day & Age (http://www.absolutepunk.net/thisdayandage), Rookie of the Year (http://www.myspace.com/rookieoftheyear), Rory (http://www.myspace.com/rory), and Inkwell (http://www.myspace.com/inkwell), and will run from October through November.

Holy shit, that would be amazing. I'd go.

ROTY would probably be boring as hell live though.

suprisingly, ROTY is actually pretty good live, they just added a third guitarist so they can some what replicate some of the layered sounds of the CD...but yea...i think im gonna miss spill canvas on this tour..they were damn good last year. But inkwell is gonna rock, they're new shit is amazing

edit: PS- another thing is, while the music is pretty good live, ryans voice is either a aweful or amazing..the pass couple times theyve been through chicago (minus the park west show when he was sick and mike sang) his voice has been really really good...anxious to see them on this tour

I haven't seen them in over a year but they were pretty damn borring just standing there and all. And yea, I don't think they are that very good llive either.

I need to vouch here that if you've seen Rookie Of The Year lately and Ryans performance has been a little less then good he's been going through A LOT of health problems and luckily he is ok but he's been pretty bad off since Warped Tour and his health hasn't really made a full comeback.

Needless to say, I hope this comes through Metairie/New Orleans.

A lot has changed since then; I would definitely check them out now/again. Like somebody else has said, they've added a third guitarist which adds another dimension to their live show. Also, over a year ago they were still playing the songs that Ryan had recorded in his basement alone. Have you listened to any of the new stuff? Everything about it is immensely better.

I have seen ROTY about 7 times....

The third guitarist adds a ton of depth.....Ive only seen them once w/ the new lineup but it was amazing. Before I would have said ROTY was enjoyable but kinda tame....the new lineup ROCKS though....more upbeat and more dynamic....

I would much rather see this tour than last years....TSC isn't my favorite.

i absolutely love rookie of the year, they are def in my top 3 favorite bands of all time. I'm a huge fan of 111 records, and would also love to see This Day and Age live. I've seen Roty in Syracuse NY, Poughkeepsie NY, Ithaca NY, and Kingston PA ... i would LOVE for more opportunites to see them again!

..and anyone reading this, don't listen to what people have said about roty being boring live. the style is mellow..yes. but if you've heard Goodnight Moon ...its an amazing album, fun beats and i'm really excited to see them play more of those songs live... they are great live. i wasn't disappointed any of the times i had seen them.

probably one of their biggest fans,
