I hear they have a new CD being released in the fall... I'm so pumped. I really enjoyed Catalyst, despite the weak lyrics and the tracks bleeding together by the end. It was definitely solid.

Hopefully, their upcoming CD will have just as many hits as they have in the past.

I only like the new song when I'm high. And thats only once I pretend im not listening to NFG.

That link didn't work for me...

BUT.

They have the song on thier MYspace now.

I've gotta say... I miss Jordan's more whiney vocals. I know they are probably going for the more polished sound, but I can't help but miss the adolscent sound. "It's Not Your Fault" is a good song, though. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the album turns out.

nfg is basically the first band that got me into this whole scene of music. i will always love them. <3 they have produced some awesome cds...self-titled is my favorite..and sticks and stones is great too. catalyst was decent at most...and nothing gold can stay..well...thats just awesome lol id say something more profound, but im too tired.

I'm with you on that... While I jumped on the "scene" band wagon with the Used and Taking Back Sunday, I came onto NFG not long after. I loved "My Friends Over You". I think they are solid no matter what...

I think Catalyst should be given a bit more credit. They were fun, straightforward songs... The lyrics were not at their strongest, that is for sure, but that didn't bother me too much.

Same. Blink 182 and NFG is what got me into this music.

I enjoyed Catalyst but I did get the feeling it was a bit overprouduced and would've sounded a lot better if it was more lo-fi.
