can we sticky a "pocahontas/chief jay strongbow official thread" where we can bitch and moan everytime they fuck up? they do it so often that it sure wouldnt be a problem keeping a post count up.

bring back breslow. dude throws 1 1/2 of perfect relief (despite the intentional bean ball) and gets the boot. makes no sense whatsoever.

it shouldnt be when you are the #2 payroll, it's not even that boston fans are "crazy" and all the other bullshit thats associated with us. when you are the 2nd most expensive team in the league and you charge the highest ticket prices because you know you have a loyal fanbase you can bend over, you better put a winning product on the field.

I'm going to look like I just got my first bj when the Yankees take over first. I'm going to have a huge smile on my face, just because it's going to happen, just like it always does. July, August, September and October make it so worthwhile to have friends who are red sox fans.

EDIT: It will almost make up for the Cubs imploding yet again against the Mets tonight.

yeah, i agree. I mean ..it's not all bad with Francona. The major issue I've had with him this season is the way he handles the bullpen, but more specifically, the way he was pitching Tavarez and Seanez in close games. I also thought he's stumbled a bit w/ the development of Hansen and Delcarmen but they've been effective for the majority of their time.

now that he's stayed away from using seanez and tavarez in close games, i can't fault him for too much. he's also cut down on the unnecessary amount of days off for some of the players, which was annoying towards the beginning of the year. all and all, i think this may be his best year yet.

but i still think he's probably in the bottom half of the league. there are a lot of other guys out there that i'd rather have leading this team.
