I have the quadrilogy box set and I haven't gone through all of it yet. I'm watching Alien right now. I haven't watched this movie in forever, but it is easily one of the best thrillers ever.

yeah, call me crazy, but i liked Aliens about 10 times more. the first one was great, but the sequel was spectacular.

What I'm about to say is scifi/thriller heresy, but I need to get it off my chest: Alien is boring.

Is it a good movie? Definitely. Is the chest burster one of the top movie scenes of all time? Yes. Is the part where Dallas is in the vent shaft and he turns around and sees the Alien for 1/3 of a second and you nearly shit your pants awesome? Hell yeah.

However, I think it is too slow paced for many viewings, especially the director's cut. But once in a while, I definitely love watching it.

Aliens, however, put that on at any point int he movie and I'll watch the rest of it. Same with Predator.

Alien 3, Resurrection, Predator 2, and AvP can all lick my choad.

Okay, I'll admit. Aliens is much more entertaining and a lot quicker paced then the original, but you can't deny how awesome the original is for starting it all.

I'm watching Aliens right now and the fight at the end with the queen is amazing.
