Girl Inform Me - The Shins
Song For You - Alexi Murdoch
Eyes - Apollo Sunshine
Hey Joe - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Something - The Beatles
Just Like A Women - Bob Dylan
Train Under Water - Bright Eyes
Yesterday - The Beatles
Speed Trials - Elliott Smith
Orange Sky - Alexi Murdoch

It has a lot of more mellow and quiet songs. And no, there is no punk or punk influenced music on here but I'm sure a lot of you also listen to other music besides punk. At least I hope so.

It starts off with what I think is one of The Shins best songs. Girl Inform Me is a great example of The Shins sound on Oh, Inverted World. Next it goes into a nice relaxing song by modern folkster Alexi Murdoch. I think Song For You has universal appeal and nearlly everyone could find something in it. Track three is from a relative unknown, I'd actually surprised if anyone on this site knew them. Eyes is a great pop song though, even if it is only two minutes long. Hey Joe is a classic song from a classic band. Something is one of the more popular tracks of the infamous record Abbey Road.

For the next two songs I put Dylan and Bright Eyes back to back because of the much talked about comparison between Bright Eyes creator Conor Oberst (btw, he's not emo folks) and Bob Dylan. Both of the songs featured here are fantastic, one of them a classic and the other a candinate for a future classic.

The rest of the mix has a nice mellow feel. The Beatles finally grew up with Yesterday, Elliott Smith sent chills down our spines with Speed Trials and Alexi Murdoch's Orange Sky already has cult following among indie hipsters. Not to mention it's the perfect closer to any album/record/CD/mix tape.
