i think it should just stay east coast. and charter one pavilion seems so small for this? i've seen the offspring, fob, sum 41, and other bands there and it doesn't seem like a bamboozle "atmosphere". i wasn't excited for it at all. i think it should of just stayed out in the east coast.

Yeah but we don't get any pop-punk centric festivals at all in Chicago. Don't get me wrong, we have some good stuff, but I am constantly envious of Bamboozle (even West) and the good "scene" festivals in NY/NJ

true, i don't even know how long the sets are at those festivals. but i stopped going to warped after 2006. i just rather see the band at their own show/tour if i like them enough.

Fucking bullshit. I was excited to get a bamboozle, and I was more excited seeing the bands on the other line-ups, but if these are headliners I will be sorely disappointed. There would have to be a lot more bands added to make this worth going to.

Absolutely not. You mentioned alternative rock bands. Last time I checked Lollapalooza wasn't a Q101 radio show.

For every band like NIN or Rage Against the Machine, there are 10 times as many obscure indie rock bands with names like !!!, Cage the Elephant, or Clap Your Hands Say Yeah on the bill.

None of those bands are really all that obscure, especially Cage the Elephant who had one of the bigger "hits" on alternative radio this past year. And none of those bands really seem to attract hippies either. Lollapalooza has plenty of hugely successful bands play and while the indie scene is well represented you can't really call the bands obscure. If they were, they wouldn't be playing a huge event like Lollapalooza. Try again.

More Chicago Bamboozle bands. An ad in the May issue of AP for Bamboozle lists Kill Hannah, All the Day Holiday, and The Lifeline in addition to those already announced. The Lifeline's myspace also confirms this.
