Hi Renee! Are you just as surprised to see me posting as I am? I slept all day after my day off from work, so I'll be up all night with nothing to do.

A little bit from column A, a little bit from column B. Seriously, you're twenty and talking about running away? I'm younger than you and that just could be the dumbest thing I've ever heard... plus, you got yourself into that mess, you can get yourself out.

You've got to do it in person. Otherwise your an asshat.

If you plan on dumping her then you should do it in person, you deserve whatever you have to deal with when you tell her.

Just tell her person and be a man about it. Other than her crying uncontrollably, what's the worst that could happen?

Be a man, Hulk. Do it in person. Actually, depending on how long you've been together, you can probably do phone. If it's less than 2 years, phone should be fine. I mean - it's not like she's going to want to hang around after you do it.

MattADALIE
02/04/10, 07:53 AM
First of all, it really depends on how long you two have been together which would set the stage for the severity of the issue. In any case, you should approach her about these problems and let her know what harm she is causing to the relationship. Be honest with her. For instance, if you feel like she's pushing you away with her emotional displays, tell her. If she can't handle it, then she's not ready for a relationship. If you feel like running away and ditching her plain and simple, then you're not quite ready yourself. Tackle the issue in person and see how it goes.

My ex girlfriend pulled some shit from the Notebook, and starting crying and hitting me when i broke up with her.
She'll get over it though, and so will you, it's no big deal..

rhinitus
02/04/10, 10:08 AM
k you get into a pointless fight. then you somehow turn around what she said and make her feel like everything is her fault and has left you no choice but to break up "at least for now". that way, she'll still call you at 2am, and you won't have to feel guilty for picking up...

man i hate breakup with girls. I actually never truly did it. When i was 14 my girlfriend broke up with me, and it f-in hurt so I don't want to do anything like that to anyone. 9 years later I had to dump 3 girls and all I do is distance myself until they get the picture. The most recent one wouldn't, er still hasn't gotten the picture.

The hurt of a terrible moment (breakup) will pass. But if you're keeping yourself in a relationship you can't stand to be in, that's a lot worse and prolonged. Do what you feel you have to do.. and please do it in person. I've been broken up with over the phone and it's a ridiculous thing to do, so try to avoid it if possible

Andy Young
02/04/10, 12:24 PM
Just dump her via text.

emoishardcore

Tell her the truth. Tell her that she seems deeply uphappy and you feel it is having a negative impact on the relationship and you can't carry on unless her behaviour changes. How old is she? Must be hormones! :-/

muzicislife31

Just do it in person. She'll be less upset in the long run if you treat her with respect.

DanielJames
02/04/10, 02:18 PM
If you had the balls to ask her out in person, you should have the balls to break up with her in person. Not sure how you guys started but that's my position on things. Regardless, if you're that unhappy with her then end it now instead of making it worse.

Woah, it's Chelsea! Hi, ma'am! I've just been working and keeping busy... it's pretty heavy duty stuff. Other than that... hmm... I pierced my cartilage yesterday lol... I wasn't to sure about it then, and I'm not sure now but in a week or two I'll get it all solved and possibly fired from my job. Anywho, how have you been? Missed you!

Erik!!! Please do not get fired from your job because of your cartilage piercing, unless the job is complete crap and you really really hate it, then you have my blessing to get fired over something trivial. I'm glad you're keeping busy and working, is the heavy duty stuff a good thing or bad thing? I've been good, hanging out, finishing up school soon, missed you too! PM me sometime if you want to talk?

Lol, it is a shit job, tbh... the customers are douches, the managers act like they care but they don't, and it's minimum wage... the only thing I like about it is the people. It doesn't seem like I'll get fired cause of it though, which is cool too. It's good and bad 'heavy duty' lol... work has just worn me down quite a bit, but I feel happier than I have in some time and there's a girl I like at work. Sounds like you've been having fun... wait, done with school for good? What's your major? I definitely will pm you!

Hhaha your shit job sounds just like mine! I like the people I work with because one of my best friend works with me and everyone pretty much likes me too! lol. I'm glad to hear that you feel happy about heavy duty work and that there is a girl!!! I'm almost done with classes and then I can apply for the occupational therapy program this summer so i can start that in the fall and get a real grown-up job! hopefully i get picked for the program! Lol, where are you working? Were you and your best friend friends before you started the job? Lol, everyone PRETTY much likes you? So that means there's someone that doesn't? There is a girl, just not sure if/how I'd ask her out lol... I don't care if she said no, just everyone at the store talks and in a day everyone would know and she's younger and I don't know what the managers would say and I know I'd get tired of everyones comments and looks, then everyone says that work relationships are unprofessional, and I don't even know if she already has a boyfriend. (lol, sorry, I should post a thread.) Ah, well I'm really stoked for you... my little chelsea is all grown up... lol j/k but that's exciting; do you know exactly where you'd want to work? I mean, you wouldn't be doing interventions or anything, right? I'm sure you'll get picked ma'am! Keep me updated! I missed you too... too much! Do you still talk to Mandi?
