maladroit got shat on, but i still think it's a great album. my favorite weez song of all time is on that album: burndt jamb. audiorgasm for me (trying that out in place of eargasm). i almost picked red tbh because the first half/two thirds of that album, plus the b-sides were amazing, and it could have been the best album (imo) if they'd nixed some of the shit at the end like cold dark world and angel and the one (that's on the red album right? they almost always have a song tacked on the end that i never listen to). pinkerton's good, as is the blue album, but i still think they're a bit overrated, but they don't carry that nostalgic weight for me because i started listening with make believe (which i maintain is a good album, even if it's not a good WEEZER album)

Absolutely not, I loved this CD. No disrespect to The Blue Album or Pinkerton whatsoever, because those are some of the best CD's I've ever heard.. however, if we're talking the kind of CD that is catchy, that I'll want to play again and again because the songs get stuck in my head, I'll probably turn to The Green Album. It's short and sweet and kind of finds Weezer in between their old style and their new one. I don't know, maybe it's just because I over-listened to Pinkerton or because Only In Dreams isn't a song I necessarily like all that much by them.. I just find that The Green Album is one I've been listening to more than others lately.

Then again, this could all be bullshit and I could end up choosing a different CD in a couple months haha
