yeah, i have 9 of the new songs and im really surprised as to what route Kris took the band...but it's a good surprise. Welcome the Night is going to be a very unique album that i think will open up the Ataris to a lot more listeners. I can't wait for the mastered release.

I heard that the lead singer wanted to start an entirely different band for this album, since he wanted a different sound and everything, but his record label would not allow him to do so. Also, there are two songs that are on the album that weren't originallyl going to be on there, but the record label urged the Ataris to kick out a more commercial album.:rolleyes:

I was very surprised that I liked this as much as I do. It will be interesting to hear what it's like once they do new tracks and finally release it.

the ataris were recently released off their record label so its possible they may still change their name and all
