Saosin / Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster / Before Their Eyes Tour Dates
These are only a few of the dates, it hasn't been fully announced. Before Their Eyes was nice enough to post some tour dates on their MySpace page, though.
Dates:
2/23- Emerson Theatre - Indianapolis, IN
2/24- Pop's - Sauget, IL
2/25- Mad Hatter - Covington, KY
2/27- The Shelter - Detriot, MI
2/28- Grog Shop - Cleveland, OH
3/2- Lost Horizon - Syracuse, NY
3/3- Harpers Ferry - Allston, MA
3/4- The Chance - Poughkeepsie, NY
3/5- Jerky's Live Music Hall - Providence, RI
3/6- Ottobar - Baltimore, MD
What's odd, is a couple tours ago when Before Their Eyes went to that venue in Poughkeepsie, they got assaulted by their security guards, and said they were never going back there again. Odd.
I'm pumped for Maylene and BTE (:

From what I'm willing to believe, that story is true about Before Their Eyes. It happened when they played with Blessthefall on a day off from the Silverstein tour. Basically, they were told that they couldn't use a quicker route leaving the venue to put their instruments away and the band didn't want to be out in the rain carrying their instruments to their van. They did it anyway and security didn't take kindly to it. The band posted pictures in a blog on MySpace before the blog entry was deleted and I think they had pictures of the aftermath of what happened. I've witnessed quite a bit harsh treatment by those security guards myself. Definitely not the nicest dudes.

I know that they're just doing they're job, but they are some of the most unpleasant people.

the worst thing about the chance is the fact that there's a group of bro core kids that go and they pick fights with every person in the pit area no matter what. even if ur just standing there. thats worse thsn the securtiy guards in my opinion. those kids are so bad, they even picked fights with kids during an emarosa show

Saosin's Pac Sun tour was pretty much EPIC fail...they thought it would be cool, playing with different and werid opening acts. But, with a weak sophomore CD and those openers, they failed to really bring in many people. I attended Boston and Balty show, both were empty. Saosin has definitely failed to repeat their debut CD success. Which sucks, cause, it was a great CD.

Oh yeah, those kids are fucking ridiculous. I saw We Came As Romans and The Word Alive over the summer and the whole time I was thinking, "Can't they just wait for the Emmure show a few days later?". Haha, those kids suck.

thats what i was thinking during emarosa, the best is tho how a couple of those kids two step to every song even if you should not be. when i saw suicide silence there thos kids were two stepping during the blast beats

i recorded all of maylene's set. if you go to my youtube channel you can see waht they played. idk their song titles so any help is appreciated.
also, saosin said they were playing a lot of their older stuff. they dont want to but since the fans want to hear it they are playing it. their set was cut short because it took forever to sound check.

older saosin is derf better than new saosin but i would like to see them again.... if they play the versions of the songs off of the grey ep instead of in search of solid ground... that would be good

Saosin's set from 3/3/10 in Boston...it may be a bit jumbled in the middle but I think it's pretty accurate. The begnning and end are defintely right and those are the 14 songs they played.

2. Sleepers
3. Deep Down
4. Voices
5. Changing
6. Translating The Name
7. Is This Real?
8. Move Slow
9. Seven Years
10. On My Own
11. Say Goodbye
12. Some Sense of Security
13.I Can Tell There Was An Accident Here
14. You're Not Alone

They were supposed to play "Bury Your Head" in Boston but ran out of time (curfew for the venue was 11:00). They announced they were going to play it but apologized for getting cut short.
