what grind bands did you listen to start with? there are a ton of great ones out there currently. insect warefare has been turning heads left and right. kill the client is gaining lots of attentino too. why? because they do old school style grind with a new school twist...it rules.

im not a fan of grindcore either, that stuff is becomming to rediculous with bands like heavy heavy low low, and nonsense shit like that, but i do like a lot of death metal.

i know you are a graphic designer too, but i am pretty much strictly grind/death/metal so i can tell the different and stuff, i am actually trying to get into the genre, so i am doing free work or cheap as hell designs just to get my name out, cause hell i am 13, i dont need to support myself.
