if your were playing in the superbowl later today, which would you rather be:

a superstar: you're expected to play well. if you play average or worse and your team loses, you get crucified. if you play great, it's just another notch on your resume and nobody is really surprised.

a roleplayer: you do your job like you have all season and you get no praise or recognition. but if you make one spectacular play, you go down in history. yet, you also risk the same by making that one mistake. at the end of the day if you just play average, no criticism comes to you.

Superstar because you when you win you make bank but when you are the roleplayer you make something but it isn't THE MOST AMAZING SUM OF MONEY THAT CAN EVERZ BE SEEN ON A CHECK. In simple it is about the money hola.

i'd rather be a superstar but mainly for the fame/recognition that translates into other areas of popular culture. it would be fun hanging out with famous musicians, actors, and others that have reached the near pinnacle of their craft.

roleplayer. just like when playing in a band. I would never want to be the singer, too much responsibility comes with it. If you screw up, or say/do the wrong things, it effects the rest. I think I'd enjoy being a roleplayer and holding my own, and when that one opportunity to shine comes, take advantage of it. maybe that moment could even spring my resume from roleplayer to star status the following season, especially if i am playing my contract year.

Roleplayer for the beginning. Towards the end you go into superstar mode. earn bank.

okay so you would wanna be a superstar if given the chance but in your fantasy world you would have to work real hard and maybe be given the chance. Rather than just be a superstar... In your wildest fantasy

this is straight out of Simmons' basketball book, isn't it? Basically the Robert Horry Theory.

I'd rather be the guy making excellent passes and be a secondary scorer.
