Ravech: "The last player to do that was Chubby Dean, in 1942.."

Kruk: "Hah! Chubby..I know all about him."

Ravech: "Why would you know all about chubby..?"

Kruk: "Because I'm fat.."

**silence......long silence....**

Ravech: "Well, um..I think you look nice."

Harold Reynolds bursts out laughing and the show ends.

That had to be the best moment on Baseball Tonight so far, hands down.

I can't stand Kruk... he's a fucking tool. Reynolds doesn't know what he's talking about either, but at least he sounds cool. Kurkjian and Pedro Gammons are the only guys I like.

These idiots yesterday said "With Hudson pitching like the Hudson of old, the Braves are making a wildcard run..." I mean seriously, do you fucking idiots cover anything other than the AL East and the Mets?

haha yea thats true. every time the guy takes a dump somebody wants to write a 10 page story about it. O well thats the most media attention the Astros will have (unless they go deep in the playoffs again) for a while.

naw not really, only when hes in the news for roid reasons. They really only talk about the AL East/West, they have to talk about the AL central now t aht they are so good, and they talk bout the mets...thats it.

They broke away from Sportscenter and other shows just to show fucking Roger Clemens pitch horrible in the minor leagues. Nobody gives a fuck what he does anymore.

And they don't talk about the Mets more than any other team, you're just pissed because the Astros are too embarassing to talk about on TV.

they briefly talked about how they are going to "buy" the brewers making a playoff run.

harold reynolds also talked about how the Tigers should pick up Daryle Ward at the deadline and that he "really likes" the "power" that Ward brings despite being a "part-time player" everywhere he's been.

Yes, Daryle Ward is what will get us over the hump. nice work Mr. Reynolds.

yeah, i dont buy the brewers making the playoffs this year, especially with turnbow throwing ducks to anyone he faces.

Ive never seen him throw ducks, but he does serve up a few every now and then. Next year might be the year the crew break out.

uhhh the dude's got a 29.50 era in the month of July. He's not throwing ducks, you're right, he's throwing batting practice 3 hours after batting practice is supposed to be over.
